We run our 8-dimension diagnostic and build a targeted readiness plan. Depending on severity, this is a Workshop (90 minutes, $1,500–$2,500), a Strategic Assessment ($20K+), or a Value Creation Partnership (6–18 months). The owner builds the infrastructure with our guidance.

How it works for your clients

Step 1: You identify a client who isn't market-ready. You introduce them to Shellback or send them to our Exit Readiness Score — a free, 5-minute assessment that scores their business across 8 PE diligence dimensions. This gives both you and the owner a quantified picture of the gaps.

Step 2: We engage with the owner at the appropriate level — Workshop, Assessment, or Partnership — based on the severity of the gaps and the transition timeline.

Step 3: We keep you informed on progress (with the owner's permission). When the business reaches market-ready status, we hand it back to you for the transaction. The owner is better prepared, the business commands a higher multiple, and your process runs smoother.
